Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) is technique that allows a user to monitor small mass changes in mass per unit area. Quartz Crystal Microbalance instruments include quartz and metal electrode that can be made to oscillate at a defined frequency. Mass change on the electrode surface will be detect by changing resonate frequency.
