Alere BinaxNOW™ Legionella Urinary Antigen Card is a rapid assay for the qualitative detection of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 antigen in urine samples from patients with symptoms of pneumonia. It is intended to aid in the presumptive diagnosis of Legionnaires’ disease caused by L. pneumophila serogroup 1 in conjunction with culture and other methods. The Alere BinaxNOW™ Legionella Urinary Antigen Card can be read visually through the window or with the Alere™ Reader.

The Alere™ Reader with Alere BinaxNOW™ Legionella Urinary Antigen Card is available only in select markets.
